Wedding {2}

One of Tim's oldest friends, Jordan Anderson had his wedding on 8.9.10... here are pictures from his wedding.
Jimmy & Timmy off to pick up Shelsee for the weddin!
T & J waiting for the ring xchange to begin!
Don't let this picture fool you, this wasn't what we could actually see.  We were all looking straight into that bush in front of Jordan's head.  This picture was being taken 3 feet above my head...

Hiking {sort of}

The guy(Tim) and myself decided to use his Friday off to go hiking in Willard. I am all for adventure (with in reason).

 Did you know that the water running over the roots of trees turns them into a bright pink?  Beautiful.  We followed our mini-hike with Maddox drive-in, Smith and Edwards, and Zeppes Italian Ice!  We also made it over to Nick & Kristen's beautiful reception.  I love summer days.

Month {1} July

We made it!  1 month ago today Tim and I were running around getting things ready, taking vows, running off to Vegas.  I am happier than I have EVER been.

Here are a few things to note about our {Wedding}:
  • We lost my wedding ring & the marriage license the day of the wedding
  • Tim's wedding ring had not been received by the jeweler
  • The morning started out hot, then rained, then ended on a windy note
  • I married my best friend
  • We had the best food from Grideli's
  • We received a KitchenAid {still amazed by that}
  • We had a guest moose join the festivities
  • Mike {Tim's Dad} graced our family wedding pictures wearing a wig
  • Jan {Tim's Mom} made the most spectacular center pieces
  • We had our favorite baker make super yummy banana & strawberry cupcakes
  • Jill & Mike came to our rescue with a long list of helpful tasks

Here are a few things from our {Honeymoon}:
  • Honeymoon for 6 days in Vegas at the Venetian
  • Vomited on the plane ride down to Vegas
  • Tim took his phone in the pool and it still works
  • Rode public transportation for pretty much the first time ever
  • Went to one of our favorite bands at Mandalay Bay {One Republic}
  • Our suite had 3 TVs, bathroom, bedroom, and living room
  • We watched fireworks from our room
  • Had chips & salsa everyday from that yummy Mexican place
  • Walked to In & Out Burger (totally worth it)

Here are a few things about our {July}:
  • Bought patio furniture
  • Bought a new couch
  • Bought and still waiting for the kitchen table
  • Tim went to Bear Lake
  • Tim started his new job
  • I found my ring, the marriage license, and Tim finally has his ring
  • Had a bbq on our vintage grill
  • Jordy modeled for Good Things Utah
  • We started Tuesday movie date night
  • We made our first house payment
  • Took Mark and Tracie to an Outlaws Soccer Game (see below)

Home {sweet} Husband

Timmy & I have been married for almost 2 weeks.  The wedding was amazing & the openhouse was even more incredible.  I have officially married the MOST stunning, amazing, incredible, & best man I know.  I am so excited for all that is to come.  Thanks to all of the fam(Jan, Miss, & Jill) and friends(Trace, Lex, Jen, Henry, Chaz) who helped us get ready for and on our big day.

We went to Vegas for 6 days(honeymoon) and stayed at the amazing Venetian Hotel (we had TVs in our bedroom, bathroom, & living room).  It was roughly an average of 110 degrees each day!  We had so much fun & will probably plan another trip soon.  Tim bought me tickets to my favorite band, One Republic for my wedding gift.  They were playing at Mandalay Beach one of the nights we were in Vegas.  I enjoyed an uninterrupted 6 days with my hot new hubby:)

We are still working on getting settled so I will post more pics soon.

1 week, 2 days, and {6 hours}

This past weekend my new fab family gave me a bridal shower.  Thanks Healy women for taking the time to put such a fun day together for me!  I love each of you so much!

This little guy is one of Missy's gifts to us.  We asked her for a little garden friend for our wedding/garden and I don't think she could have picked a better one for me.  Green is my favorite color right now.  Pictures of her other gift are coming soon.
Tim and I also hit up a couple of garage sales Saturday morning looking for an old desk to refinish.  We have yet to find the desk, but here is what we found!

This amazing chair that we bought for $20!  It looks so cute in our new little house!  It is our currently our only piece of furniture, unless you include the lawn chairs in front of the t.v.

Who doesn't love bubblegum?  This was $1, it took me a an hour to clean it up, but it is so cute on the kitchen counter.

More finds to come:)  This week will be crazy with all the wedding plans falling in place.

{ten years}

But darling, you, are, the only exception.
-Paramore

Tim's birthday is Wednesday.  26.  Do you know I met him when I was 16?  10 years ago in August, I met the man that I am marrying(in just a few short weeks).  Wow, time just passes you by.  I am glad we get to share his birthday together, one of many birthdays!  I am also so excited to join such a great family who has been so sweet to me.  I am, almost, a Healy.

Wedding plans are almost complete, just odds and ends!  Tim told me yesterday that his dad has hired a band.  I can't wait to see everything come together!  That's all for now.  I will have some pictures of my garden soon!

Home Owners (It's Official)

Yesterday Tim & I closed on our house!  We are so excited.  It is a house built in the 1950's and has been remodeled by the adorable family that we bought it from.  We fell in love with the retro feel and how simple it is.  I will post a few pictures from the house listing.  I am sure some of you will recognize it!

Oh and did I mention that the wedding is 34 days away!
